Bro. Richard Perfecto

Richard was born in the Philippines on July 11, 1960. He was the fifth child of Ilang Ilang and Salvador B. Perfecto from their 10 children. He was married to Nicanora S. Perfecto, born in the Philippines from the City of Davao. They are blessed with kids Ezekiel and Joel, both talented and both have a desire to serve the Lord. The life of Richard was very colorful: He was a young boy when he first came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on the 4th of May in the year of the Lord 1974, under the ministry of the late Rev. Ludivico Tamon, who is with Lord right now (a former Pastor of United Baptist Church Abra St. Olongapo City, Philippines). A lot of things happened to Richard when he became a Christian, a change of life is just a product of trusting the Lord. As a young man he became involved in the church until he felt that God was calling him into the ministry. But because he had an ambition in life to serve the country in the Philippines, to be enlisted in the military as a soldier, he was trying to refuse and resist God's calling. Until May 19,1978, he was convicted and felt that God was calling him, he surrendered to the Lord, he couldn’t do anything but to come forward, cry like a baby and surrender his life to be a full time minister of the Lord. He went to Seminary the same year, 1978, and after he graduated in 1982, he went to the field and started a work in Iba Zambales, Philippines under the Authority of Bible Baptist Church, Olongapo City. From 1982 to 2002 the Lord used him to start a work and organized it by the grace of God.  In those years he started and organized at least six works. And he decided to move to America to start a work but when the opportunity to study was given he took up his Master's degree in Ministry in Theology and graduated June 11, 2004. After two days the School where He graduated awarded him of a Doctor's degree major in Ministry ''theology" at Faith Bible Theological Seminary, Milton Florida. This year, 2004, Richard and wife Norai Perfecto joined Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church and decided to start a Filipino Mission, hoping that God will both use them before He comes back.  return to list of missionaries

Bro. Israel Marquez

I was born in the Philippines, Feb.7,1959. I was a devout catholic before I personally met and received our Lord Jesus Christ on May 22,1983.I followed the Lord in water baptism a week after. I surrendered my life in full time ministry in 1983 and went to Manila Baptist Bible College in 1985 and graduated in 1989. I was ordained in 1992 under the authority of Park Baptist Church in Cubao, Philippines, Bro.Chito Mendoza is the pastor. I got married on March 1, 1990. My wife's name is Belinda. We have blessed with 3 children. Aaron Glenn is my eldest (15) Ezra John(4) and Abigail(1).

My first mission was started in 1989,Cornerstone Baptist Church, Dagupan City Philippines. I started with at least 6 people and when I left in 1996, there were about 60 people who were actively involved in the ministry. The work was organized in 1992 as an independent Baptist church. In 1996, I was about to start another work as a missionary somewhere in the Philippines but for some reason God brought us to Australia. From 1996 until 2002 I was an assistant pastor with a certain Baptist church here in Australia. In 2003, I started my first mission here, Westside Baptist Church in Mount Druitt. Since the pastor was receving an alien baptism I irrevocably resigned. In 2004, I started another work here in Plumpton under the authority of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. The mission work was started at my place on July 25, 2004 until such time God provided a place for us every Sunday.

The address of our meeting place is: Flora St. Corner Rooty Hill Road North,NSW 2761. My mailing address is 10-Plumton Rd.
